‘I’ll go,’ offered Jevon.
‘No way. You’ve been entrusted to the safekeeping of the Ondans,’ she said, jabbing a finger at Jevon.
‘Then let Quill go,’ said Jevon.
‘Quill has to maintain command of Neptune’s Revenge — especially if there’s a chance we may encounter Nautila again. And not only is it too dangerous, but I’ve been tracking this character for almost a decade, and I want to be the one to end his insane plans. I need you to be eyes, ears, and support for me in this submersible. Can you do that?’
Jevon nodded.
